Growth Statement
This unit was about the idea of Health insurance for a healthy population. The main problem we looked at was how can we give everyone an affordable price each month for insurance. We looked into specific things like if people need an organ transplant or heart surgery. Also, we solved very simple problems which is the first page in my portfolio. We took four people, saw what treatments they might need in the future and then found a price for all four of them. This semester I really feel like I have grown in my math skills. I feel like I learned a lot about health care and mathematical rugs.
I think that some of the most important issues of fairness on providing health care is that everyone has a different case, as in, some people are gonna get sick with something and someone gonna have a broken bone. At some point in someone's life their gonna go to the doctors. I now know that not only do you need to pay for whatever you may be there for but you're also paying for the doctors.
