Why Animas High School?

I chose Animas High school because I don’t like the traditional schooling system. Although I could have chosen Big Picture, personally I prefer a more social environment, also I would much rather like an extra push from teachers, whereas at Big Picture it is a completely independent working environment. I also enjoy the project based learning system, I feel it makes me more focused on what we are learning and allows me to get more educational experience. In middle school, the head of school always encouraged hands on and project based classes, but never tried to enforce it, which lead to a great deal of boring texts books.
